Tom Kehoe…was among the first 15 candidates that the League identified for demonstrating strong leadership on environmental issues. All candidates endorsed must be committed to protecting Connecticut’s land, water, air, wildlife, and will work toward solutions to our state’s pressing issues such as transportation, energy policy and waste management.

Kehoe was one of only a dozen legislators included in the list for his “persistent and firm efforts” protecting the environment, standing up for clean air, clean water and clean energy. The group also said the award was for “giving our irreplaceable beaches, parks, forests, farmland and other open space the protection they deserve.”
