From the Glastonbury Citizen 10/28/2010
For the 31st Assembly District: Thomas Kehoe (D)
Now serving his second term in the General Assembly, Mr. Kehoe has been widely commended for his efforts on behalf of land preservation and green technology. An attorney and former Town Councilman, Mr. Kehoe is a 20-year-town resident–his five children all went through the Glastonbury School system. While probably best known for for his enthusiasm for environmental issues, Mr. Kehoe endorsed a jobs bill to support small business and backed incentives intended to attract new business to Connecticut. A member of the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, he has worked to ensure Glastonbury receives its fair share of educational funding and says the state needs to make a bigger commitment to funding public education in general. He is also vice chair of the Transportation Committee and supports improved rail service between Connecticut and New York–a service we agree could only benefit the state’s economy. He says the economy will be his first concern if re-elected. …Mr. Kehoe is better positioned to be part of the solution and we recommend his return to Hartford.
