I have received several phone calls asking me if the Glastonbury Democrats are running two candidates for the General Assembly in the 31st District. The answer is no. We are proud to say that the only Democratic candidate for the 31st Assembly District in Glastonbury is Representative Tom Kehoe.
The confusion may have been caused by the fact that Tom’s opponent has the same last name (although not a relative) as Dr. Amrutur (Sheenu) Srinivasian–community leader, former Town Council member and Democrat of the the Year–who was formerly a candidate for the 31st Assembly District. Sheenu is not running for office in 2010.
Representative Kehoe is our candidiate for the 31st District and has served the Glastonbury community diligently since 2006. For more information, go to www.tomkehoe.com.
