The Glastonbury Citizen October 21, 2010 <Original> five letters:
Tom Kehoe has been a sound and practical representative for us and the Town of Glastonbury during his years as our State Representative for the 31st District. His support and efforts to preserve the environment, created regional cooperation and services, and obtain state grants for the Town and are only a few reasons to return Tom to the General Assembly. Please join us in voting for Tom on November 2.

In my five decades in this country, I cannot remember a time when so much depended on an election. This election season is such a time when only sound policies based on experience can get us out of the rut created by previous administrations a the state and federal levels. That is the reason for my support of the Democratic team of Tom Kehoe, Dan Malloy, and Dick Blumenthal. At the district level Tom has had an enviable two terms and the potential advantages to our district, upon his reelection, are extraordinary when he works with Dan as Governor and Dick as our U.S. Senator. Tom’s commitment to job creation and growth, control spending, and small business is compatible with Dan’s vision. His hard work in support of our district helped provide tax relief to the extent to $3 million. He has received commendable endorsements form a wide variety diverse groups such as CSU Professors, Connecticut Education Association, Sierra Club, CT-PACE, and League of Conservation Voters. Such excellence in public service deserves to be rewarded by his constituents in the 31st. Please join me in voting for Tom on November 2nd so that he can continue to represent us in the legislature to bring prosperity to Connecticut through hard work, common sense and sound policies in the new administration.

We are very fortunate to have Tom Kehoe as our State Representative in the 31st District. He is a a business man with practical experience and up-to-date knowledge of what skills are required in today’s world. He knows that by keeping Connecticut ahead in developing such skills, more jobs and employment will follow. Tom has shown that he is the man who can lead our state in this important area. We must keep Tom Kehoe in the legislature.

This letter is directed to those Glastonbury citizens, who are readers of your newspaper, who must make their election choices shortly. Please include, in your election analysis, the candidates for State of Connecticut Assembly in the 31st District carefully. In my opinion the incumbent representative, Tom Kehoe is the best choice, because this is not the tome to introduce inexperience law-makers to the Assembly process. This current period is difficult for most of us, and according to the “crystal-ball pundits” they are not likely to become easier very soon. Therefore, it is essential that we have the best legislative representation making the serious and important decisions for the next two years. Tom Kehoe is a serious man, who has displayed his efforts and maintained his commitment to enhance and improve the following important issues: contemporary economic development, improved education programs and statewide land conservation. Tom is a man of great integrity to his family, his community an his office an he will continue to serve the 31st District with distinction. Please vote for Tom.

In recent weeks, letter after letter to the editor of The Glastonbury Citizen has remarked on the qualities and accomplishments, service and dedication, of our incumbent 31st District State Representative, Tom Kehoe.
Rather than repeating and reiterating and rehashing those requisites, my I simply request a quick rereading and, on November 2nd a vote (or re-vote) for Tom’s re-election.
